Ramsbury FC Player of the Year and recipient of the Oli Kimber Cup for the 2021-2022 was Euan Mulholland of the U17s/U18s squad. Euan and 3 other players had been with the Club for over 10 years and in that time had played most games and nearly all tournaments and were key players of the Ramsbury U16s team that remained unbeaten and winners of the Mid Wilts U16s Red League.

Euan during his time with Ramsbury FC was always at training and matches when he could be, completed his Duke of Edinburgh Award and coached the U6s and U7s as part of his volunteering on top of his training and throughout his time was polite, helpful and interested in developing as a footballer. He was one of only four Ramsbury FC youth players to successfully migrate to the Ramsbury FC Senior squad. He fully deserved being awarded the Oli Kimber Cup and VIP tickets for Euan and his Dad Stephen to see Manchester United play West Ham at Old Trafford. The tickets were kindly donated by Al Collis who was our U6s lead Coach last year.

Here are the pictures of Euan at Old Trafford with his dad and with Louis Miah, son of the Under 10 Whites Coach Bash Miah, who both accompanied Euan and Stephen in the VIP lounge and at the match and who are huge United fans. The tickets for Louis and Bash were again courtesy of Al Collis. It was a memorable 1-0 win for United and Euan got to visit the Theatre of Dreams and see Ronaldo play and Marcus Rashford score his 100th Premier League goal. What a day!

Euan is a great lad and a real credit to his mum and dad and is an example to all the young players at Ramsbury FC and fully deserved his day out at Old Trafford….it is also a good job he is a United fan and that he didn’t elect to take our Chair Andy Knowles with him as his old coach….as he is a lifelong Liverpool fan!!!

A big thank you to all at Ramsbury FC for making this happen and to Al Collis for the tickets and the VIP package and to our Chair Andy Knowles for making sure everything went smoothly.
