Ramsbury FC have added a second Emergency Defibrillator to the Recreation Ground and placed it at the front of the Clubhouse for easy access and use.

Ramsbury Tennis Club have an Emergency Defibrillator secured within their Clubhouse and the second one located at Ramsbury FC will provide additional confidence to all members and visitors to the Recreation Ground facilities and its location will be included in the soon to be updated Ramsbury FC Medical Emergency Action Plan (MEAP).

Vice Chair, Chris Roberts, who is also Captain of the men’s team, organised the purchase of the Club Defibrillator through the FA scheme and all at Ramsbury FC were delighted to receive it and get club sponsors Ergo FM install it on the front of the Clubhouse for easy access and use if needed.

Although each team at Ramsbury FC has more than one FA qualified coach, who have all received First Aid training including use of Defibrillators, the Recreation Centre is to provide additional training on the defibrillators to ensure as many as possible know how to use one if and when needed.

Safeguarding and safety of all within Ramsbury FC remains paramount and the new additional Defibrillator is a welcome addition in ensuring safety and safeguarding and having life-saving equipment to hand.

All at Ramsbury FC could not be more delighted with the new Defibrillator, but hope there is no occasion for its use.
