Ramsbury FC U18s lose 3-4 against Lydiard Millicent FC U18s in first league match.
Goals from Bill Booth, Finn Convey and Oli Morris were not enough to secure a win against a tough Lydiard Millicent side.
The match was certainly winnable, but a red card for Ramsbury in the 60th minute meant it was always an uphill task with only 10 players.
Credit to those who stayed on the pitch as they never gave up and showed great determination and discipline. But there is no doubt the needless straight red card was the turning point and saw the visitors take all 3 points.
Next up a tough cup match to Div 1 opponents Wroughton FC U18s.
