With Manager Sean Eviil away at yet another wedding and getting great use out of his sheepskin jacket, it was down to injured Club Capt and newly qualified UEFA C Coach Chris Roberts to take charge of the home match v Lambourn FC Devs.

It was a slow start with Lambourn scoring first but 3 quick goals saw the Blue and Whites tale a commanding 3-1 lead. However, a poor defensive error gave a penalty to Lambourn who converted to make it 3-2 at half time.

The second half was a scrappy affair with a lack of consistency and Lambourn getting another goal thanks to the referee overruling the linesman to allow what looked to be an offside goal stand and make it 3-3. The Ref then requested the Ramsbury sub doing the linesman duty be changed which was a shame as the young lad had done little wrong but in the spirit of the game the change was made as requested.

Ramsbury made a number of forced changes and bludgeoned their way to a winning goal and see the game out with a 4-3 win. Not pretty but they got all 3 points and a win is a win!
