Ramsbury FC Under 11s showed tremendous grit and determination in their first 9v9 home match on the much bigger three quarter pitch at the Ramsbury Recreation centre. In their first game with off side and line officials both teams put on a great show for the decent sized crowd watching on.
Both teams were a credit to their coaches and clubs with the Abbey Meads keeper making a succession of superb saves throughout the match. Not to be outdone, the Ramsbury FC U11s keeper Clarke Willment did likewise and showed great shot stopping skills in the post-match penalty shoot out.
What was great to see was two committed teams with excellent supportive coaches playing a highly entertaining game that was supported by excellent well behaved supporters! Brilliant game to watch.
Lets hope both teams have a fantastic season and a mention must go to Will Beattie who did a great job refereeing the match.
