Ramsbury FC lost 2-3 at home to a significantly strengthened Purton FC Reserves side in a feisty encounter.

Ramsbury scored through Nathan Good and Aaron Pressley to make it 2-2 at half time, but it wasn’t enough as Purton scored a long range speculative effort to make it 3-2 and take all 3 points. It was a shame as Ramsbury were not at their best and its didn’t help that when Purton were down to 10 men Ramsbury had 2 players sin binned to make it 10 v 9 and the ill discipline cost them.

Good referee and linesman made the game very fair and in the end Purton just about deserved the win.
