Ramsbury FC U14s had yet another great win against old rivals Ashton Keynes!

There is usually not much between teams as they have had some cracking games in the past and with Ramsbury without their top striker from last season and a number of key players out with illness or injury there was anticipation that this would be a very tough match.

The anticipation proved right as Ashton Keynes were up for it and put Ramsbury under pressure with a make shift midfield and George Blanchard the stand in goalie when he is usually a key defender! It was another defender, Archie Morris, who was put into the makeshift midfield who stole the show and who claimed a superb hat-trick to seal an impressive win and get player of the match.

Coaches Rich Gillard and Adam Blanchard were delighted with the whole team performance and especially those players playing out of position and who were fantastic and showed real adaptability and resilience.

Ramsbury U14s are riding high and hopefully their injury and illness situation improves.
