Ramsbury FC has two Under 7 teams this year and what an exceptional bunch they are as both won their first every Trophy events at Foundation Park in Swindon!
The U7 Blues coached by Hamish Gray and assisted by San Cave-Penney saw their brilliant Blues side take on a range of sides, many from much bigger clubs, and come away as Trophy winners. A brilliant performance from a great bunch of young players!
Not to be outdone, Ramsbury FC U7 Whites played in the Trophy competition in the afternoon and had the same result and excelled against much bigger clubs and made head coach Dan Creed and assistant coach James Nash extremely proud.
Winning is not what it is all about but how the team played and how they supported each other. And at such a young age it is obvious that they are all loving their football, having huge fun and making their parents and coaches very proud!
Days like this are few and it is down to the brilliant volunteer coaches, dedicated players and parents and the right ethos and attitude that make it so special.
A brilliant day for our two youngest teams and they are wished all the best this season and beyond.
