Head Coach Rich Gillard with his team’s battling display against a well organised and resilient Hungerford Town FC U13s team.

It was a superb team performance by Ramsbury with two more goals by Henry Dickerson and a goal by Guy Bolus that saw Ramsbury run out convincing 3-1 winners. Henry is currently the Div top scorer – well done! Ramsbury had a strong squad today and continued their fine form with another win that sees them 5th in the table and just behind Hungerford Town FC U13s.

Player of the match was Edward Lee who was tenacious in his tackling and had superb positional play throughout the game. Edward epitomised the spirit of the team who all played for each other and produced another fine team performance.

Great refereeing by Coach Adam Blanchford and great support on the side lines that was only marred by an unsavoury incident where the Hungerford linesman was unnecessarily aggressive and threatening to one of the Ramsbury female supporters. There is no room for this type of unacceptable behaviour and the matter will be reported to Hungerford FC and the League.

Please note that any incidents before, during or after youth league matches that are deemed unacceptable behaviour should always be reported to team coaches and then the Club Secretary or Chair or Jon Symon who is the Child Welfare Officer (CWO).

Next up is RWB U13s and then back to back matches with South Cerney!
