A tough match against the league leaders saw Ramsbury FC U17s put in a spirited performance against a quality Bradford Town FC U18s side.

Bradford dominated the first 20 minutes and deserved their 1-0 lead, but a late conceded goal in the first half from a corner resulted in a 2-0 deficit at half time that did not reflect the game as Ramsbury FC had battled back into contention.

Ramsbury FC U17s had a penalty decision go against them, which was hard to swallow, and this change the demeanour of the game as Bradford took advantage and scored again to make it 3-0.

A tough game and Ramsbury FC U17s can hold their heads up as the 3-0 score line did not reflect a much closer game.

Well done to all involved.
