Ramsbury FC U13s dont do boring games and the match on Sunday was no exception and was reported by the match official as one of he best he had seen!

In very poor conditions and on a pitch that was badly cut up due to the heavy rain and a previous match having been played on it, both Purton FC U13s and Ramsbury FC U13s, from Div 1 in the North Wilts Youth League, went head to head in a compelling and closely contested game. Both sides showed superb quality and resilience on a poor playing surface and produced an amazing match that saw both teams tied at 3-3 towards the end of the game. But an amazing last minute goal by Ramsbury FC sealed the win and claimed all 3 points.

The match official wrote to the League Secretary to commend both teams performance and attitude and superb sportsmanship throughout the great game and that they were both a credit to their clubs. Absolutely brilliant game and a real example set by both teams.

Ramsbury FC scorers were Reggie and Zach with a great volley and Ethan with another goal direct from a corner, his third in four games, and Lucas with the winner. However, it was a superb team performance and coaches James Collister and Rob James were delighted with all of the team involved.

Well done the U13s!
